What is yoga?
The word yoga means union in Sanskrit. The union between all aspects of life. Through yoga you can create balance throughout the mind, body, and spirit. Through mindful movement with a focus on breathing you can strengthen all aspects of your being.
What if I'm not flexible enough to do yoga?
If you have a body you can do yoga. Yoga is so much more than how many positions you can get your body into. Yoga is about being present in your body and creating mindful movement to improve muscle tone, circulation, flexibility, and bring relaxation to the mind and body.
I have certain limitations, how can I practice yoga safely?
All of the 1:1 and group classes are focused on your safety and proper body positioning and alignment. We use modifications and various techniques to help your body find the correct and safe position for you.
